I’ve never really fit into a mold. Not as a person, not as a business owner, and definitely not as a wedding photographer. The truth is: I’m not here for cookie-cutter, Pinterest-perfect weddings. I’m here for the weirdos, the rebels, the lovers who never saw themselves in bridal magazines and didn’t feel like traditional weddings were for them. Because that was me, too.

Why I Started Photography

I didn’t pick up a camera because I wanted a side hustle or thought it would be “fun.” I started photography because I wanted to give people a chance to see themselves — like, really see themselves — in moments that matter. I wanted to bottle up emotion, connection, laughter, chaos, stillness, and say: Look. This is real. This is you. This is beautiful.

What started as a way to freeze time became a calling. And eventually, it became a way to call in people like me.

A person in a green dress holds a black cat against a sunset-lit background with autumn foliage.
A sunlit portrait taken in a golden cornfield at sunset with warm autumn tones and dramatic natural lighting.
People in black evening attire pose expressively against a white corrugated wall for a photo session.

Why I Fell in Love With Small, Alt Weddings

Give me a backyard elopement with mismatched chairs over a ballroom wedding any day. I live for the stuff that breaks “rules” — the sparkly boots, the tattooed brides, the couples who walk down the aisle together or not at all. The ones who cry during their vows and then do shots with their siblings afterward.

I photograph pop-up weddings and intimate celebrations because I believe love doesn’t need 200 guests and a $50K budget to be meaningful. It just needs two people showing up as their fullest selves — and maybe some damn good lighting.

Why I Created Pop-Up Weddings

Honestly? Because I was tired of seeing people go into debt over one day. I wanted to create something that still felt luxurious and styled and memorable — but didn’t cost as much as a down payment on a house.

Pop-up weddings are for the folks who care about meaning and magic more than monograms and seating charts. They’re all about experience over extravagance. And yes, we still do the beautiful details — but without the stress and pressure that often steals the joy.

What I Expect From My Clients

Be yourself. That's it.

You don’t have to be a model. You don’t have to know how to pose. You don’t need to fit a vibe — you are the vibe. All I ask is that you show up fully — with your love, your story, your quirks, and your trust.

This is a collaboration. I’ll bring the creativity, the direction, and the eye for those editorial, soul-soaked images — you bring the realness.

Why I Want to Go Full Time

Because this isn’t a hobby. This isn’t a side hustle. This is what I am meant to be doing. And I want to give it everything I’ve got.

But more than that — I want to prove that you can build a life doing work that matters. That you can show up authentically, unapologetically, and make space for others to do the same. I want to grow this business into something that keeps evolving — just like the people I serve.

So, if you don’t fit in either...

If you’ve been searching for someone who sees you — like really, truly sees you — I might be your photographer. And if you want to plan a wedding that makes your grandma raise an eyebrow and your soul feel so damn full, I’m absolutely your photographer.

Let’s make something unforgettable — together.
